Privacy policy

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us, plus basic information your browser shares when you visit.

• Contact form: your name and email, and if you add them, your company, phone number, message and the topics you tick.
• Free-call booking: your name, email, the time you pick, and if you add them, your company, phone number and notes.
• Site visits: pages viewed, the link that brought you here, your browser and device type, and an approximate location from your IP address, collected through the analytics and advertising tools described below.

How we use it

• To reply to you, hold the call you booked, and send you a quote you asked for.
• To keep a record of inquiries so nothing gets lost.
• To understand which pages and ads bring people to the site, so we can improve them.
• To keep the site secure and working, and to meet legal obligations.

Google Calendar access

The booking calendar connects to Austen's own Google Calendar, not yours. With his permission, it does two things: it reads only the busy and free times on his calendars, so it can show open slots, and it adds your booked call to his calendar with you as a guest. Google then emails you the invite and a video call link.

It never reads the titles, descriptions or guests of other events on his calendar. We don't ask for access to your Google account.

Autom8's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar data is used only to show availability and add bookings. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the site for us, under their own privacy terms, and when the law requires it:

• Google: email (Google Workspace and Gmail), Google Calendar and Meet for bookings, and Google Analytics and Google Ads for site measurement.
• Vercel: hosts the website.
• Neon: stores contact form and booking records in a database.
• Sentry: records technical errors so we can fix them.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads tags, which set cookies to measure visits and see which ads lead to a form or a booked call. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google's ad settings are at adssettings.google.com.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and booking records for as long as we're talking or working together, and then for up to 3 years for our records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing aust@autom8everything.com. We'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under your state's privacy law, and we'll honor them.

Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that it never will be breached.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't meant for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
