My own business
What I built for my own small business
I run a small business in Phoenix, and I built everything here for it before building it for anyone else. Every number on this page comes from its own accounts, with the dates it covers.
- Review requests
- An automatic review request after every job: from 68 to 1,378 Google reviews in about two years, across both locations
- Scheduling app
- A custom app running 15+ staff schedules, with payments routed across several Stripe accounts
- Schedule changes
- I send a screenshot and AI updates the schedule, instead of typing every change in by hand
- Search
- Climbed to the first page of local search results within months
- AI call answering
- 627 inbound calls answered by Cadence in August 2026
- Google Ads
- 16 calls and bookings from $297.97 of Google Ads, $18.62 each (Sept 24 to 30, 2026)
- Website trust widgets
- Custom widgets on the website, like a live review counter
- Paperwork
- Automated end to end
- Profit
- Up 32% after these systems went in
A business that lives on the phone
Customers call all day to ask questions and book, and my team and I are out doing the work. Every missed call was a customer who might book somewhere else.
Every call answered
My business's calls go through Cadence, the AI phone answering service I built. It answers, takes the caller's details and texts a summary.
627 inbound calls answered in August 2026.
How phone answering would work for your business
Customers book and pay on their own
A custom scheduling app runs 15+ staff schedules and routes payments across several Stripe accounts. Customers pick a time and pay when they book, and when a schedule changes I send a screenshot and AI updates it.

A review request after every job
Every customer gets a short text asking for a Google review after the job. My business went from 68 Google reviews to 1,378 in about two years, across both locations, with a 5.0 average.
A Review Funnel for your business
Ads judged by what each call and booking costs
The account tracks phone calls from ads and completed bookings, so every change is judged by what each call or booking costs, not by clicks.
16 calls and bookings from $297.97 of Google Ads, $18.62 each. My business's Google Ads, Sept 24 to 30, 2026: 14 phone calls from the ads and 2 completed online bookings. Google counts every call from an ad, repeat callers included.
Easy for Google and AI assistants to read
The site has an llms.txt file, schema markup and a quick answer at the top of each guide, and it climbed to the first page of local search results within months. Both Google profiles are kept current with hours, services and a tracked booking button.
SEO and Google profile help for your business
Busywork that runs itself
An AI workflow drafts a new blog post every week (posts went up on Sept 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2026), the paperwork is automated, and the site shows a live review counter and other custom trust widgets.
AI workflows for your weekly busywork
Three things I'd tell any owner
- Track calls and bookings, not clicks. You can't fix ads you can't measure.
- Let AI draft, and have a person check anything with safety or legal wording before it goes out.
- Build around the tools you already use, so nobody has to learn a new system.
Questions
Are these real numbers?
Yes. They come from my business's own phone records, Google profiles and Google Ads account, and each one says the dates it covers.
Is this business a client?
It's my own business, which is why I can share its numbers.
Can you build the same for my kind of business?
Yes. The pieces are the same for any business that runs on calls and bookings: answer the phone, let people book and pay, ask for reviews, track the ads and get found.
